Everything Sweater - Knitting Pattern
THIS IS A LISTING FOR A DIGITAL PDF FILE
Hello!
The Everything Sweater Pattern is knitted top-down (raglan style) and is a great project to use up your scrap yarn to create a unique piece!
It comes in 9 sizes (xs to 5xl).
Things you'll need for this pattern:
- 8 mm [US 11] circular needles recommended (24”-32” cord)
- 6.5 mm [US 10] circular needles recommended (16”- 24” cord - for neck ribbing)
- scissors
- tapestry needle
- stitch marker
and yarn:
(bulky weight yarn (100 gr = 100 m))
recommendations:
As the nature of this piece is entirely experimental, you really have infinite options for choosing what type(s) of yarn you use (as long as it is in the range of bulky weight yarn). You could use two strands of worsted weight yarn held together, different strands of lower weight (lace, dk, sport, sock) yarn held together
even using bits and pieces of super bulky yarn here and there would add fun detailing to your piece! Be free in choosing yarns as long as you achieve gauge with bulky weight yarn.
However, here are some yarn recommendations
(for achieving gauge/using):
- Drops Andes
- Drops Wish (or Drops Air held double) - WATG Alpachino Merino
- WATG Feeling Good (held double)
- Knit Picks Biggo
- Malabrigo Chunky
- Lion Brand Hue & Me
Techniques used in this pattern:
- long-tail cast-on
- knitting in the round
- 1x1 ribbing
- m1r/m1l (increasing)
- k2tog (decreasing)
